Still want to rely on social media for your branding?

Personal branding is very important for any individual who wants to control the narrative of their career or life at any level. And this is done by using many tools, including social media. Lately, they have been failing us and showing us that we need to be mindful of any situation out of our control that may arise.

A few months ago, on May 19 to be exact, Google experienced an outage. At that time, no one could access all the services provided by Google, such as Gmail, Drive and many others. This outage was considered an error and was repaired a few hours later.

A few days ago, Facebook, as well as Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger and Oculus VR experienced an outage. They were severely affected, which made the platform inaccessible for over 6 hours. Many people paid a high price for this outage, among them leaders, influencers, etc.

As good and effective as social media is, it also shows you the importance of having your own platform. YOU MUST HAVE A WEBSITE. It’s no longer a need, but rather an obligation.

That’s why it’s always important to be independent while taking advantage of the tools at our disposal. Some will say that for now, it is not important. Well, are you going to wait until it becomes important, and therefore urgent, to act?

Don’t wait for LinkedIn and TikTok to crash. Act immediately.
