Did you know that poor web design can hurt sales and mot of all your brand ? An unattractive site deserves a website redesign. No debate about this, that’s the way it is.

No matter what your company size or industry is, though, it’s crucial that you take a strategic approach to your website redesign. Know what isn’t working, what does currently work, and what goals you wish to achieve.

Otherwise, how will you take advantage of your existing web traffic? Worse, what happens if your web design is causing people to avoid visiting your site at all?

How Did I Know that my Website Needed a Redesign?

I answered three questions when deciding whether or not to redesign a website:

1. Does the design look outdated?
2. Are my conversions/sales/visits decreasing?
3. Have I received complaints about user experience : things such as lacking important information or my person not being aligned with my website or design-related issues?

After thinking about those questions and talking to my website visitors. I came to the conclusion that my website needed a surgical operation.

There’s nothing wrong with the previous design, but it doesn’t match my personal branding. After giving it an overhaul,, the site now looks like this:

It matches the design of my personal blog, so it’s easily recognized as one of my properties. As I’m writing this, I’m thinking about taking my blog to another level by redesigning it too. I always like to offer the best to my visitors, they deserve it.
